Cheese Biscuits
Ingredients
8 oz  (200 grams) Plain flour
Pinch of salt  
5 oz  (125 grams)  margarine
5 oz  (125 grams) grated strong cheddar cheese
1 level teaspoon  marmite or liquid oxo
   
Method
Sift the flour and salt.
Rub in the fat.
Mix in the cheese.
Add enough water to make a firm dough.
 
Roll out and cut into biscuits.
Blend the marmite or oxo with a little boiling water and brush over the biscuits.
 
Bake at 200 C or 400 F for 7 to 8 minutes.
Remove from the baking tray and put on a cooling rack.
 
Place out of the reach of husband and children.
They are cheesier when cold!!
