For His Glory
Brothers and sisters in Christ can I exhort you to be ready to give a word, a prayer, as the need is known to you. A small act of faith by you, can have rebounding effect to the Glory of God surrounding His throne.
My story of one who did just that.
From my youth I have served the Lord in ministry. I ran my first church at 17, then amalgamated into the Assemblies of God. Later went on to pastor my own church linked to another organization. I was ordained when about 33. In church work all does not always go as we would want. I became ill and problems occurred in my fellowship. I could not continue. In my heart I was too broken and said I would be leaving the organization. The Leader had said publicly any who leave will not be able to go to church again.
Around the age of 40 I was alone (relating to church circles). My wife, family and I moved area. I tried over the years to attend various churches but came out broken, disappointed, nerves shattered and dreaded going back in.
This went on for over 20 years. Friends, during that time Our Father in heaven never left me. I always knew his presence and his love for me. I was wracked with bad memories, guilt, self blame.
