John had gone over the handle bars of his motor bike some years before we met him in The Well, Retford Baptist Church. He could not rotate his neck and sleep was disturbed by pain every night, even with strong pain killers.

Val and I had dropped into their “drop in centre” for a cup of tea and a chat after doing some shopping to be greeted with the words “Here’s Graham and Val, they will pray for you.” Well that was the last thing I wanted to do! Especially when we heard what t he trouble was.

However after a restoring ‘cuppa’ we did, and very gently too, laid hands on his head and prayed over him, while others watched or

joined us in prayer. Suddenly there was a loud click from John’s neck. And definitely not caused by us. We were amazed.

Even more so when John started to rotate his neck for the first time in years saying all the time “I can’t do this, I can’t do this!” Then he cart-wheeled down the hall!

Sleep was restored… without the tablets. John went on to give his life to Jesus.. And others in his family were healed and saved. Glory to God!

What of the doctors? They could find no change in his neck!
